Mission & Vision
A fresh space. An honest approach.
At Stortrijders, we believe that removing bulky waste, furniture, or clearing a property is more than just physical work. It is a service where trust, respect, and transparency should always come first.
Whether it’s a sofa that needs to be collected, a property that must be cleared, or a business that needs support during renovations or tenant turnovers — we ensure a smooth, clear, and professional process.
Our approach is built on three principles:
honesty, respect, and long-term cooperation.
Our mission
Our mission is to support people and organizations in a respectful, honest, and transparent way when it comes to removing bulky waste, furniture, and complete property clearances.
For us, clear communication, reliability, and a high level of service are not extras — they are the foundation of good work.
A job is only successful when the customer is genuinely satisfied. If that is not the case, we are not satisfied either. That is why we take the time to think along with our clients, set clear expectations, and keep our agreements.
In an industry that sometimes carries an shady or unprofessional reputation, we want to show that things can be done differently. We operate according to regulations, communicate transparently about pricing, and give honest advice — even if another solution would benefit the customer more.
We also help businesses use their workforce more effectively. In today’s tight labor market, it makes little sense for skilled professionals such as plumbers, installers, or renovation specialists to spend time removing waste or clearing spaces.
By taking over these tasks, professionals can focus on their own expertise, allowing projects to move faster and more efficiently.
We believe not in short-term profit, but in long-term partnerships and trust.
Our vision
We believe the way we deal with furniture, appliances, and materials can fundamentally change.
Many items that are currently considered waste still contain significant value. By combining different streams — such as bulky waste collection, property clearances, and turnover maintenance — materials can be used far more efficiently.
With smarter logistics, planning, and processing, materials can be reused, repaired, or repurposed.
For example:
electrical devices often contain usable components
furniture can often be restored with relatively small adjustments
By organizing these processes more efficiently, a circular system can emerge where less is discarded and more value is recovered.
Our ambition
In the long term, we aim to build a Pan-European organization where logistics, services, and reuse come together.
When I close my eyes, I see a network of Stortrijders vehicles on the road every day — clearing properties, collecting bulky waste, and supporting companies during renovations and tenant turnovers.
Not as separate services, but as one efficient system where different streams come together.
By combining activities such as bulky waste collection, property clearances, and turnover maintenance, a logistical network can be created in which materials, labor, and transport are used as efficiently as possible.
Within such a system, materials that are currently treated as waste can gain new value.
For example:
appliances whose components are still usable
furniture that can be reupholstered or refurbished
materials that can be reintroduced into the market through refurbishment
Our ambition is to gradually build a Pan-European organization where reuse, repair, and logistics work together, recovering value from materials that would otherwise be discarded.
